Wabaunsee has gone a perfect 9-0 against Lyndon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Chargers are taking a road trip to square off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Wabaunsee has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Wabaunsee after they put the first run on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 12-5 to Onaga. The Chargers have struggled against the Buffaloes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Council Grove hit Lyndon with a seven-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers came up short against the Braves, falling 16-6. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bella Hobbs made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Macy Weece, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Wabaunsee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Lyndon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything went Wabaunsee's way against Lyndon when the teams last played back in April of 2018, as Wabaunsee made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
