Volleyball Recap: River Islands Triumphs

While River Islands didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Leroy Greene Academy Lions on Saturday.

River Islands' victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Leroy Greene Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, River Islands will head out on the road to face off against Gregori at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Riptide surely won't give up without a fight. As for Leroy Greene Academy, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Delta on the 8th.
