Soccer Game Preview: Caribou vs. Presque Isle

The Caribou Vikings will square off against the Presque Isle Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Presque Isle took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Caribou, who comes in off a win.

Caribou is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Old Town with a sharp 13-1 win on Monday. Caribou haven't had any issues with Old Town recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Presque Isle faced John Bapst Memorial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Crusaders.

Caribou's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Presque Isle, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-2.

Caribou beat Presque Isle by a goal in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-2. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
