Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northern York). They put the hurt on the Red Land Patriots with a sharp 10-3 win on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Polar Bears considering their one-run performance the game before.

The team relied heavily on Matthew Kendall, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Colby Pentz also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Northern York was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Northern York has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Red Land, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northern York will challenge Shippensburg at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Red Land, they will square off against Palmyra at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
