Perry and Hennessey pushed the score to 12-7 the last time they played Hennessey, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Maroons had just enough and edged out the Eagles 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Maroons: when they faced off against the Eagles on Monday, they had to take a 12-7 defeat.

Perry's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Hennessey, with the loss, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will welcome Blackwell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hennessey, they will face off against Watonga at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Watonga has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something Hennessey will no doubt try to take advantage of.
