Soccer Recap: Austin Achieve Comes Up Short

Austin Achieve was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the LBJ Austin Jaguars, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that the Polar Bears have lost by exactly four goals.

Austin Achieve's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for LBJ Austin, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Austin Achieve will face off against Eastside Early College at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Austin Achieve is facing Eastside Early College at the right time seeing as Eastside Early College is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for LBJ Austin, they will head out to take on Burnet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Burnet will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something LBJ Austin surely won't give up without a fight.
