Imperial is 9-1 against Vincent Memorial since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Imperial Tigers will be playing at home against the Vincent Memorial Scots at 7:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Imperial came up short against Calipatria and fell 52-42. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Vincent Memorial was able to grind out a solid win over Calexico on Wednesday, taking the game 56-44.

Imperial better keep an eye on JoseCarlos Acosta. He was instrumental in Vincent Memorial's win, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Acosta has scored at least a third of Vincent Memorial's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gael Villavicencio, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards.

Vincent Memorial's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Imperial, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Imperial didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Vincent Memorial when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 69-63 win.
