Basketball Game Preview: Holy Trinity Titans vs. St. Dominic Bayhawks

The Holy Trinity Titans will head out to take on the St. Dominic Bayhawks at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Holy Trinity is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Holy Trinity saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 42-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harborfields.

Holy Trinity's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Morgan Konecky, who posted 20 points, and Alana Goodson, who earned seven points and ten rebounds. Those 20 points gave Konecky a new career-high.

Meanwhile, St. Dominic had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 43-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Massapequa.

Holy Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. Dominic, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-1.

Holy Trinity came up short against St. Dominic in their previous meeting back in February, falling 50-44. Can Holy Trinity avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
