After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West-Oak, Walhalla was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Belton-Honea Path Bears as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Razorbacks in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won three in a row.

Walhalla's got stronger as the match went on, holding Belton-Honea Path to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 25-6.

Marli Gibson paced Walhalla's offense, picking up five kills. Gibson got some help from Mya Cobb and her 11 assists. Cobb was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Walhalla's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Belton-Honea Path, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walhalla will face off against Crescent at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will square off against Westside at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
