It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Unionville-Sebewaing had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They never let the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The Patriots' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last five matchups.

Unionville-Sebewaing's victory bumped their record up to 20-17. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, they moved to 31-10 with that defeat, which also ended their 12-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Unionville-Sebewaing will square off against Michigan Lutheran Seminary on Friday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. Plymouth Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
