Football Recap: Kewanee Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Kewanee kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 29-6 to the Erie Cardinals. The Boilermakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2021.

Looking ahead, Kewanee will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Erie, they will head out to challenge Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Cardinals' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
