Hamilton is 9-1 against Butte Central Catholic since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Broncs put the hurt on the Beavers with a sharp 42-21 victory on Friday. Considering the Broncs have won four contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Hamilton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cooper Weston led the charge by rushing for six yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 162 yards while completing 75% of his passes. Jude Widmer was another key rusher, rushing for 94 yards and one TD.
Hamilton didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Beaverhead County to a completion percentage of just 31.6%. The Broncs weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 72.7%.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Butte Central Catholic finally came back down to earth on Friday. They took a blow against Frenchtown, falling 49-7. The Maroons haven't had much luck with the Broncs recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
Hamilton pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.0 points over those games. As for Butte Central Catholic, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.
