Baseball Recap: Santa Fe South Takes a Loss

Santa Fe South came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-1 to the El Reno Indians. The Saints were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

Santa Fe South has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-24 record this season. As for El Reno, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9-2 record this season.

Santa Fe South didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-4 victory against Del City on the 8th. As for El Reno, they have also already played their next match, an 11-7 loss against Elgin on the 8th.
