Basketball Game Preview: Appleton East Patriots vs. Oshkosh North Spartans

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 90-48, which was the final score in Appleton East's tilt against Hortonville on Tuesday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Polar Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Oshkosh North had taken Neenah down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Spartans took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets.

Oshkosh North's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Appleton East, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Appleton East suffered a grim 76-50 defeat to Oshkosh North in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
