Volleyball Recap: South Beloit Gets the Win

South Beloit lost to West Carroll back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Sobos walked away with a 2-0 win over the Thunder. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sobos.

South Beloit easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13.

Serena Hoffman paced South Beloit's offense, picking up seven kills. Hoffman got some help from Macey Lineman and her six assists. Lineman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

South Beloit's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for West Carroll, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

South Beloit wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Dakota on the 6th. As for West Carroll, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Galena on the 9th.
