Volleyball Recap: Wilkes-Barre Comes Up Short

Wilkes-Barre lost against Nazareth Area back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Wilkes-Barre fell just short of Nazareth Area by a score of 1-0.

Jordany Rodriguez paced Wilkes-Barre's offense, picking up five kills. Rodriguez got some help from Tijan Njai and his six assists.

Wilkes-Barre's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Nazareth Area, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Wilkes-Barre's road trip will continue as they head out to face Governor Mifflin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Nazareth Area, they will host Northampton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
