Stark is 8-2 against ConVal since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Generals will face off against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Stark came up short against Campbell on Monday, falling 3-0. The Generals haven't had much luck with Campbell recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, ConVal faced Somersworth in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Toppers.

ConVal was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-23.

Stark's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for ConVal, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
