Football Game Recap: Pomeroy vs. Garfield-Palouse

Don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise Pomeroy and Garfield-Palouse were playing football. Pomeroy took a serious blow against Garfield-Palouse on Friday, falling 52-92. It was a tough break for Pomeroy, who improved upon an already decent score from the game before but lost both times.

The loss dropped Pomeroy back to even at 2-2. The win bumped Garfield-Palouse's record up to 4-0.

Pomeroy will look to defend their home turf next week against Sunnyside Christian at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. Garfield-Palouse will stay at home against Colton at 7:00 PM. The team will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
