Basketball Game Preview: Sayre Eagles vs. Navajo Indians

Sayre and Navajo are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Sayre Eagles will take on the Navajo Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Navajo took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Sayre, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Sayre slipped by Boise City 36-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Navajo didn't have quite enough to beat Hobart on Saturday and fell 56-54.

The victory got Sayre back to even at 7-7. As for Navajo, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Sayre couldn't quite finish off Navajo when the teams last played back in January of 2024 and fell 45-42. Can Sayre avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
