Softball Recap: Elma Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Elma barely beat Royal the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Knights 12-2 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 11 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Elma has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Royal, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 18-5.

As of now, neither Elma nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
