Basketball Recap: Somerset Academy Key Piles Up the Points Against Varsity Opponent

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Somerset Academy Key). They claimed a resounding 74-24 win over Varsity Opponent. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Somerset Academy Key got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hatem Chehade out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Chehade a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reggie Fleurissaint, who went 8 of 20 on his way to 17 points along with seven steals and five boards.

Somerset Academy Key now has a winning record of 3-2.

Somerset Academy Key didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-56 loss against St. John Paul II Academy on the 9th. As for Varsity Opponent, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 40-32 defeat against Santo on the 7th.
