Baseball Recap: Lexington Minutemen vs. Concordia Fghtng Orioles
Lexington can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Concordia Fghtng Orioles. The Minutemen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Fghtng Orioles, too.
Alex Kraft and Hunter Meyer made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Kraft pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Meyer tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. At bat, Kraft got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run, while Meyer went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
