Basketball Recap: Oakfield-Alabama Takes a Loss

Oakfield-Alabama was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Caledonia-Mumford Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-48 back in January.

Among those leading the charge was Collin Foote, who went 6-for-9 en route to 13 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.1% shooting accuracy. Trent Kessler was another key player, putting up ten points.

Oakfield-Alabama's record is now 8-10. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Oakfield-Alabama will challenge Genesee Valley at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they have already played their next game, a 60-39 loss against Le Roy on the 19th.
