Volleyball Recap: Keyser Comes Up Short

Keyser was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Hampshire Trojans. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 5, 2024, but that streak is no more.

While Keyser ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 20-25, 25-22.

Keyser's loss dropped their record down to 14-11-2. As for Hampshire, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-7-2 record this season.

Keyser will host Berkeley Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hampshire, they will face off against East Fairmont at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
