Hurricane lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Scott, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Redskins were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Skyhawks on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Redskins sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Hurricane pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Scott, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6-2.

Hurricane and Scott should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps West Virginia Rankings. The Redskins (ranked third) will meet Huntington (ranked 48th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Scott will take on WestSide at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (22 vs. 92).
