Volleyball Recap: St. Monica Victorious

St. Monica posted their closest victory since April 13, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Lawndale Cardinals 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

The win made it two in a row for St. Monica and bumps their season record up to 10-8-2. As for Lawndale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

St. Monica will challenge St. Anthony at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Anthony will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something St. Monica surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lawndale, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Environmental Charter at 3:30 p.m. on April 9.
