Football Recap: Willamette's Undefeated Season over After 11 Games + How To Watch

Willamette and Central Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Willamette had to settle for second. They fell 27-20 to the Rams. The loss was the Wolverines' first of the season.

Zeke Thomas threw for 132 yards on 14 of 26 attempts. TaeSaun Tarusan was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards. On the ground, Johnny Jenkins rushed for 93 yards and three scores.

Having lost for the first time this season, Willamette fell to 10-1. As for Central Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Willamette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Catholic, they will venture away from home to take on West Linn on Friday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games.
