Volleyball Recap: Central Cabarrus Has No Trouble Against West Cabarrus + How To Watch

Central Cabarrus hadn't done well against West Cabarrus recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Vikings blew past the Wolverines 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.

West Cabarrus' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mia Javier, who had 13 digs.

The victory made it two in a row for Central Cabarrus and bumps their season record up to 6-10. As for West Cabarrus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

Central Cabarrus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Harding University on the 9th. As for West Cabarrus, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against A.L. Brown on the 9th.
