Volleyball Recap: Basalt Comes Up Short

Basalt lost against Aspen back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Longhorns lost 3-0 to the Skiers. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-8, 25-19.

Basalt's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Aspen, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

Coming up, Basalt will head out to take on Soroco at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Aspen, after both having extra time off, they and Moffat County will shake off the rust and duke it out at 2:00 p.m. on November 1.
