Softball Recap: St. Charles Comes Up Short

St. Charles lost against Randolph back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Fighting Saints fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 2-1. The Fighting Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Charles now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Randolph, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Charles will take on Caledonia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Fighting Saints' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Randolph, they will head out to square off against United South Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
