Custer County hasn't had much luck against Hoehne recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Custer County Bobcats will head out to challenge the Hoehne Farmers at 7:00 p.m.

Custer County is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They were dealt a 58-6 defeat at the hands of Crowley County.

Meanwhile, Hoehne waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 40-22 victory over the Grizzlies.

Hoehne can attribute much of their success to Anthony Sandoval, who rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns, and Jake Magninat, who rushed for 60 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. Sandoval's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 147 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Hoehne was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 231 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 231 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Hoehne wouldn't let Fowler keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Hoehne can thank Jayson Guzzo and Brody Silvey for forcing both of them. Another thorn in Fowler's side was Connor Knezel, who picked up two sacks and made ten total tackles.
