Smiths Station has gone 8-2 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Red Devils at 8:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, Central hadn't done well against Opelika recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Red Devils had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 2-1. The win continues a trend for Central in their matchups with Opelika: they've now won three in a row.

Myles Walden and Parker Gessner scored both of Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Smiths Station, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12-1.

Smiths Station might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Central in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
