Softball Recap: Marian Catholic Comes Up Short

Marian Catholic came into this matchup off a tough 15-run loss on Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Grant Park Dragons by a score of 5-3 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Spartans have suffered since April 14th.

Marian Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mya Davis, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Serenity Nunez-Leddesma also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
