Volleyball Recap: Norton Takes a Loss

Norton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Bellingham Blackhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-9.

Leading Bellingham to victory were Sophia Soto and Mia Bartucca. Soto had eight digs and two assists, while Bartucca had seven assists.

Norton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bellingham, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Norton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Norwood on the 17th. As for Bellingham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Dedham on the 17th.
