Baseball Recap: Drury Wins Going Away Against Lee

Drury never let their opponents score on Sunday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Lee Wildcats. Considering the Blue Devils have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

Brayden Durant made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Durant was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on JJ Prenguber, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Noah Arnold was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Drury pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lee, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

As of now, neither Drury nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
