Soccer Game Preview: Choctawhatchee vs. Bay

The Choctawhatchee Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Bay Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bay took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Choctawhatchee, who comes in off a win.

Choctawhatchee's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Gulf Breeze. The win was all the more spectacular given the Indians' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Dolphins are ranked 20th).

Meanwhile, Bay's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Navarre.

Choctawhatchee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four matchups. As for Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14-1.
