Soccer Recap: Vanden Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rodriguez last Friday, Vanden came back down to earth. The Vanden Vikings came up short against the River City Raiders on Wednesday, falling 4-0. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Vanden's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-3. As for River City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7-3.

Vanden will welcome Wood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for River City, they will venture away from home to square off against Rodriguez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
