Volleyball Recap: Concord Falls Short Against Ranked Brandywine

Concord faced Brandywine in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Raiders came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Concord's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 9-5. As for Brandywine, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coming up, Concord will venture away from home to take on Caesar Rodney at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Riders will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. Brandywine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
