Volleyball Game Preview: Hercules Titans vs. Alhambra Bulldogs

The Hercules Titans will square off against the Alhambra Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Alhambra took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hercules, who comes in off a win.

Alhambra will be up against a hot Hercules squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Titans' way against De Anza on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-16, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Alhambra came up short against Pinole Valley on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss put an end to the Bulldogs' undefeated start to the season.

Alhambra was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Pinole Valley work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Hercules' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Alhambra, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Hercules beat Alhambra 3-1 in their previous meeting back in August of 2024. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
