Soccer Recap: Groton-Dunstable Comes Up Short

Groton-Dunstable came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Bromfield Trojans, falling 4-0. Groton-Dunstable haven't had much luck with Bromfield recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Groton-Dunstable's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Bromfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1-2.

Coming up, Groton-Dunstable is taking a road trip to square off against Westford Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bromfield, they will be playing at home against Hudson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Bromfield will be up against Hudson's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.69 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
