Basketball Game Preview: McArthur Mustangs vs. Hallandale Chargers

The McArthur Mustangs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Hallandale Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

McArthur is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They were dealt a 65-34 loss at the hands of Boyd Anderson. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hallandale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 71-39 loss at the hands of Miramar.

McArthur's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Hallandale, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

McArthur was taken down by Hallandale 60-29 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can McArthur avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
