Football Recap: The Linsly School Starts Season with Loss at Home

The Linsly School unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 32-7 to the Westinghouse Bulldogs on Saturday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Westinghouse's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Linsly School is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Brooke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westinghouse, they will challenge Brashear at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
