Basketball Recap: Tulia Takes a Loss

Tulia lost against Childress back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tulia Hornets took a blow against the Childress Bobcats, falling 65-24. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tulia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Childress, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-18.

Tulia and Childress could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Tulia will face off against Bushland at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday down 645 places (1080 vs. 435). Meanwhile, Childress (ranked 660th) will meet Canadian (ranked 67th) at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
