Football Game Preview: Cody Broncs vs. Douglas Bearcats

The Cody Broncs will take on the Douglas Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Cody is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Jackson Hole, who was ranked eighth at the time (Cody was ranked second). Cody put the hurt on Jackson Hole with a sharp 48-28 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for Cody in their matchups with Jackson Hole: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Douglas). They walked away with a 49-37 victory over Torrington on Friday.

Douglas' win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Cody, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Cody strolled past Douglas in their previous matchup back in September by a score of 28-9. Do the Broncs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bearcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
