Baseball Recap: King William Makes It Nine in a Row at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but King William had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Randolph-Henry Statesmen 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Cavaliers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

King William saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Reid, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

King William pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Randolph-Henry, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8.

King William wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Poquoson on the 5th. Randolph-Henry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
