Volleyball Recap: Greeley Central Comes Up Short

Greeley Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Valor Christian Eagles, falling 3-0.

Jackson Gollhofer paced Greeley Central's offense, picking up five kills. Gollhofer got some help from Jonathan Chumacero and his 15 assists. Tawke Blu Soe controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Greeley Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Valor Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Greeley Central has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against James Irwin on the 12th. As for Valor Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Cheyenne Mountain on the 11th.
