Soccer Recap: Everest Comes Up Short

If Everest was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Summit Shasta last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Everest Snow Leopards fell just short of the East Palo Alto Academy Bulldogs by a score of 4-3 on Monday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Snow Leopards this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 two weeks ago.

Everest's loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for East Palo Alto Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Everest will take on KIPP Esperanza at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Everest is facing KIPP Esperanza at the right time seeing as KIPP Esperanza is stuck on a four-game losing streak. East Palo Alto Academy has already played their next game (against The Nueva School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
