Basketball Game Preview: Medford Mustangs vs. Marshfield Rams

The Medford Mustangs will head out to square off against the Marshfield Rams at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Medford has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Marshfield will arrive with ten straight wins.

On Tuesday, Medford came up short against Everett and fell 57-50.

Meanwhile, Marshfield strolled past Plymouth North with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 71-56. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Eagles are ranked 177th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Marshfield's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Medford, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
