Recap: Arlington Tigers vs. Collierville Dragons
After flying high against the Cordova Wolves last Thursday, the Arlington Tigers came back down to earth. Arlington was outmatched by the Dragons on the road and fell 58-24. Having soared to a lofty 61 points in the game before, Arlington couldn't push the score so high this time.
Despite the defeat, Arlington saw an underclassman step up: Zaria Moss scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Collierville, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arlington will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully Southwind focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday. As for Collierville, they will head out on the road to square off against the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cordova will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Dragons are ranked 49th).
