They were dealt a 73-46 loss at the hands of Taylor. The Dragons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-21.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-7. As for Florida School for the Deaf & Blind, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Trinity Christian Academy took their win against Florida School for the Deaf & Blind when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 61-36.
